This is what desert dreams are made of everyone! I had the opportunity to participate in a beautifully put together shoot right in the middle of the Arizona desert, and let me tell you, I could not have been happier with how it turned out. From the intricate planning, to the incredible venue, and to all the little details that made everything tie together perfectly, this was one for the books! Let’s talk about the venue! This shoot was held at The Paseo wedding venue, located right outside of Mesa Arizona and right exactly where you want to be for all the desert feels. The Paseo has the breathtaking backdrop of the Superstition Mountains, with a stage right in front of them to get THE BEST photos opts and alllll the views. What’s better then nature being your wedding day backdrop?! Definitely makes decorating easier! Because the Paseo is in the native Sonoran Desert, just a quick stroll around and you will see all the beautiful dessert scenery from orange mountains to cactuses as tall as a house. The venue building itself is equipped with great windows for all the views and all the light, neutral tones that will fit any decor color scheme, and awesome intricate details that bring character to the Paseo!
Now let’s talk about the planners! Mae and Co put together this incredible styled shoot and they really thought of everything! The time and effort that they put into this is evident in every detail of the styled shoot. They created the dreamiest desert vibes by finding the perfect venue, neutral details, and a dreamy dress that was beyond perfect ! Mae and co are some of the most amazing creatives who always come through with the most beautiful wedding decor. I can’t wait for my next chance to work with them again!
What’s a shoot without gorgeous florals? Flora by Haleigh created all the beautiful floral arrangements that you see in the photos and she did an incredible job! She combined warm neutral tones such as beiges, blush, and whites to make classy and elegant, yet boho and minimalistic florals that paired perfectly with the entire vibe of the shoot. Flora by Haleigh was the perfect florist for the shoot.
Another detail that made a huge impact on this shoot was THE DRESS. This sleek wedding dress is from Lovely Bride and the designer is Sarah Seven Dresses. I love EVERYTHING about this wedding dress. Sarah Seven dresses are sleek and elegant with beautiful details that make the dresses come alive. For this shoot the dress had gorgeous off the shoulder sleeves, silky and sleek fabric, and a BREATHTAKING cape attached to the back for all the pretty movement. To say I’m obsessed with this dress is an understatement.
The last aspect of the shoot I want to touch on was the hair and the makeup by Urbanista Weddings. She did a beautiful job at capturing the vibe of the shoot in the hair and makeup! Both hair and makeup were kept minimal, soft waves and natural makeup, but she did it in such a way that it brought out the models natural beauty perfectly. Gotta love an artist who knows just when to stop and not go overboard. The look Urbanista Weddings created was GORGEOUS to say the least and I am sure any bride would drool over.
I loved every aspect of this beautifully put together shoot! The entire team did not miss a beat and my desert dreams were made true thanks to everyone and all their time spent. So, who’s ready for an Arizona wedding?!
