This is Paris
Heels clicking on cobblestone paths, rosé, rows and rows of European homes. This is Paris. The city of love. The city of my dreams. As I walked through this iconic town in France, I soon saw the breathtaking Luxembourg Gardens. There is nothing like seeing all these beautiful European landmarks in the flesh. Dramatic architecture, manicured landscape, cascading water fountains.
Now imagine this: you, your lover, and the elopement of your dreams right in the middle of the city of love. You stand over the balcony as you overlook the quaint European homes and watch the hustle and bustle of Parisian life. You are surrounded by life, love, happiness, and wine of course. At midnight you watch the Eiffel Tower twinkle. This is exactly how your wedding day in Paris, France can look.
I had the privilege of participating in a workshop in Paris this summer. And it was a dream come true. The styled elopement was held at the Luxembourg Gardens in Paris. We were surrounded by lush, green, beautiful landscape. The architecture was clean and romantic. Dramatic arches like you read about it books and huge windows. The atmosphere was serene and peaceful. Whether you are a hopeless romantic, or a travel enthusiast, paris is great for anyone. If you have dreamed of having your own elopement in Paris you are in the right place. Logan and Jaden got ready in an Airbnb that had a balcony overlooking the cutest Parisian houses. You can catch a glimpse of the balcony in the above photos. This made for the most beautiful backdrop for Logan & Jaden’s elopement photos. Logan’s beautiful red hair was styled in loose waves while her makeup by Chelsey Ann Artistry was soft and elegant, which I LOVED. Less is more in so many instances and this was one of them. Chelsey Created this classic, effortless, timeless look that tied perfect, and I mean perfectly with the dresses!
We worked with the amazing Boya in Paris for all the pretty floral details. The bouquet they designed was full of beautiful, delicate white roses, lilies and subtle hints of green. Such a simple concept that was absolutely elegant and clean. This added the perfect touch of elegance to all French vibes.
The dresses. The dresses and veil designed by Tara Lauren and from Chantilly Bridal Studio could not have been better choices for this shoot. The first dress that Logan wore was a long, sleek, figure forming gown that fit her like a glove. Speaking of gloves Untamed Petal’s gloves added the right amount of elegance and sass to Logan’s look. Simplistic yet chic. The entire styling would make anyone want to run away to Paris with their lover and elope at Luxembourg Gardens.
The second part of our shoot was at also at the Luxembourg Gardens. First off, the Luxembourg Gardens is just beautiful. Everything about it is well manicured, romantic, peaceful. For this shoot Logan wore a white mini dress with a beautiful, intricately designed veil. If you look at the photos you can see that veil was EVERYTHING. Im a sucker for a mini dress with a dramatic veil and I could not have thought of anything that fit a Parisian elopement more than this look.
Being in Paris for this Elopement shoot at Luxembourg Gardens was a dream. I am already eager to return to capture more of this beautiful city. If you have had the thought of eloping or having an elopement in Paris this is your sign to DO IT!
