Trying to decide on a theme for your wedding day? You can never go wrong with timeless and classy! That is exactly what Brenna and Grayson did for their wedding at the Gardenia and it was definitely one for the books. Keep reading for all the details below on Brenna & Grayson’s timeless wedding at the Gardenia venue.
Brenna and Grayson got married at a new venue just north of Dallas. The Gardenia has a very timeless feel to it with its black and white color scheme and quintessential chapel. It is equipped with large getting ready suites, one for the bride with a balcony that over looks the beautiful venue, and one for the groom that has navy blue walls and a pool table. It also has a huge reception area that coordinates with the chapel very well and it perfect for eating, drinking, and dancing the night away.
I had the privilege of not only getting to photograph Brenna and Graysons wedding, but also their engagements and Brenna’s bridal session. All three occasions have been some of my favorite sessions I’ve had. Brenna and Grayson are the perfect match and balance for each other and I so loved being a small part of their story together.
Brenna’s look was timeless. She wore a structured dress that was made of silk with simple thin straps. Her hair and makeup were done by Tease to Please. Her makeup enhanced her natural beauty and she wore her hair down her back in soft waves. One of my favorite details of her look was all the little pearl details. She wore a pearl necklace, earnings, and even had pearls cascading down her hair. This really brought her wedding look from timeless to chic and modern. I loved every last detail of Brenna’s chic bridal look.
All the details of Brenna and Graysons timeless wedding day were absolutely perfect. They incorporated all white florals that were dainty and delicate. The tables had bundles of baby’s breath and floating candles on white table cloths. The head table was lined with baby’s breath and floating candles all the way down, and they even covered the floor in front with baby’s breath. Brenna and Grayson kept the ceremony space simple, as the chapel is gorgeous on its own, with huge symmetrical windows. But, they did incorporate an arch at the very center of the aisle. The arch was made of two pieces that were covered in all sorts of white florals. These floral arches brought your attention straight down the aisle, directly to the happy couple getting married!
Brenna and Grayson weren’t going to end their stunning wedding day without the party of the year. They ate, danced the night away, and celebrated with all their loved ones. After they cut their cake (which looked like a work of art I might add), laughed and cried to speeches, and completed all the reception festivities, it was party time. Light up cowboy hats were handed out, the music cranked up, it was time to dance. Brenna changed into a sequined halter top dress that was perfect for dancing the night away, which is exactly what they did. Brenna and Grayson ended the night with a sparkler exit, surrounded by their family and friends.
One last little detail of the night was all the film photos I was able to caption at Brenna and Graysons modern wedding. Film seemed like the perfect touch to this timeless day, adding a bit of nostalgia. Film always captures some of mu favorite moments at a wedding day. There is something about the softness, the essence, of film photography that just makes you feel. You can see some of the film photos from their day below!
Brenna and Graysons timeless wedding at the Gardenia venue was truly one of my favorite days full of memories I was able to capture. Their wedding was classy and fun. Sentimental and lighthearted.
