New Years Eve Texas Wedding

New Year’s Eve. Champagne toast and the magic of new beginnings. Celebration and nostalgia. What a magical day for a wedding. Arianna and Caleb celebrated in the moonlight and danced under the stars. They ate, drank, cried, laughed, and experience the entire realm of human emotion all on this spectacular night with their friends and family. This was the perfect New Year’s Eve wedding. I also had the honor of capturing it on both digital and film. From their golden hour ceremony, to their reception framed by hundreds of string lights, to their beautiful confetti exit, this romantic wedding on the Brazos river in Texas was one I will not forget.

The Couple

I absolutely adored every moment I got to spend with Arianna and Caleb on their beautiful New Years Eve wedding under the stars. From the moment Arianna walked down the aisle, to their first dance, to their moments alone during their couples portraits, their love for one another always radiated off of them. One of my favorite things to capture at weddings is all the natural and off guard moments. Arianna and Caleb made this very easy with their genuine love for one another.

The Details

Arianna and Caleb had so many stunning details at their wedding. They held their Texas wedding outside with the Brazos River as their stunning backdrop. The reception area was also like one big garden party. The tables were covered in greenery and the linens were a deep teal like the Pacific Ocean. String lights hung from the sky, and accented the stars above as they danced the night away with their friends and family. Arianna and Caleb sat at a sweetheart table where they were able to enjoy a little alone time, while still watching their wedding guests have an amazing time.

The Bride

To say Arianna was a stunning bride is an understatement. Her dress was strapless with soft tulle trailing down to her feet in an elegant A-line. Her hair was styled in a classic, slicked back low bun and her makeup was simple in the best way possible. Arianna was such a classic and romantic bride in both her looks and her personality.

The Reception

My favorite part of Arianna and Caleb’s wedding day was their incredible reception. The couple’s first dance, dinner, cake cutting, toasts and everything between were all held under hundreds of beautiful string lights. This warm winter evening near Dallas, Texas, was the perfect night for an outdoor reception. All of Arianna and Caleb’s closest friends and family members were able to celebrate with them and they all rung in the New Year together. I loved capturing the happy couple at their sweetheart table, on then dance floor, and mingling with their wedding guest. Arianna and Caleb ended the night with a spectacular confetti exit. Thousands of little biodegradable paper pieces fell from the sky, showering the couple and creating the most magical end to a beautiful New Year’s Eve wedding day. Side note: If you want more information on biodegradable confetti feel free to reach out and I can give you all the details.

Film

I was able to shoot both film and digital for this wedding day. Film has the most stunning nostalgic feel to it, like looking at your parents and grandparents old photos. Film is soft and romantic. It is intentional and timeless. I always love when I have the opportunity to shoot film at my stunning weddings.

Arianna and Caleb’s wedding day was romantic and timeless. The celebration of the year. I so enjoyed having the opportunity to capture this beautiful outdoor Texas wedding. I am so lucky to have a job where I am able to spend my New Year’s Eve celebrating with so many incredible people.
