Elegant wedding editorial at Chateau de Baronville

Weddings

The taste of champagne on you lips, architecture as old as time, couples lingering outside of cafes, cigarette’s to their lips. France. A place for spontaneity, for laughter, for tipsy nights and late mornings. France is for lovers. I cannot think of a better place for people in love to tie the knot. I also cannot think of a place a photographer would want to photograph more than Europe. I recently had the opportunity to go to Paris, France, and photograph a beautiful editorial shoot, conceptualized and created by Traveling Weddings With Taylor. It was such a dream to photograph in Paris and I am so excited to share all the details from this wedding editorial in Paris with you all.

My Parisian Experience
It was a last minute trip, but aren’t those always the best?! I absolutely adored my trip to Paris. We went to the Louvre, D’Orsay, and the Monet Museum. We ate at too many good restaurants to remember, but my favorites were Cafe de Flore where we had the most delicious French onion soup I’ve ever had, and Pink Mama where we had hummus, bellini spritzers, truffle pasta, and crème brûlée. We walked miles everyday to see the city, learned the metro, and watched the Eiffel Tower glitter almost every night. This was truly an incredible experience and I already can’t wait for next trip to Paris.

Chateau De Baronville
This styled shoot was held at the gorgeous Chateau De Baronville, just about an hour drive outside of Paris. This chateau was dramatic and whimsical, almost like modern day fairytale. With huge arches, art, statues, and books adorning the walls,  Chateau De Baronville is like walking through an art museum. One detail of this chateau that makes it even better than art museum is all the beautiful and natural sunlight streaming through the windows that cover the walls. You can also stay in Chateau De Baronville. Imagine waking the morning of your wedding, light cascading on the walls, croissants, coffee, and cute flowers scents fill the air. It is your wedding day and all your friends ands and family are already there. I cannot think of a more romantic place to hold a destination wedding than the Chateau De Baronsville just outside of Paris.

The couple
Our Models for this photoshoot were the real life Parisian couple Julian and Darina, also known as the Paris Couple on social media. Julian and Darina were absolutely incredible to work with and brought the shoot to life. Darina looked like a Greek goodness with her blonde hair and romantic off the shoulder wedding dress by Chana Marelus. This was paired with a black and white suit for Julian that really made the entire look so classy.

The Tablescape
The tablescape was one of my favorite details of this styled shoot. The florals by Moon Flora Studio were delicate, soft, and whimsical. Tall candles, red wine, baguettes, and grapes covered the table, almost as if a feast was being prepared. The light shone through the window just right to cover the already gorgeous setup with sunshine that was an art of its own.

This styled shoot had the most incredible team of creatives that put tedious time and energy into making this Parisian elopement come to life. I had an amazing time photographing in Paris and getting to experience the city of love and all its details and beauty. Until next time Paris!
